개인정보 처리방침
시행일: 2026년 10월 24일
핸드오프(Handoff, 이하 “핸드오프”)는 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조에 따라 정보주체의 개인정보를 보호하고 이와 관련한 고충을 신속하고 원활하게 처리하기 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.
1. 개인정보의 처리 목적
핸드오프는 다음 목적을 위해서만 개인정보를 처리하며, 목적이 바뀌는 경우에는 「개인정보 보호법」 제18조에 따라 별도의 동의를 받는 등 필요한 조치를 하겠습니다.
- 출시 알림 발송: 출시 알림을 신청한 분께 서비스 출시 소식을 이메일로 한 번 알려 드립니다.
- 웹사이트 이용 통계: 방문자 수, 유입 경로 등 웹사이트 이용 현황을 분석해 사이트를 개선합니다.
핸드오프는 수집한 개인정보로 광고성 정보를 보내지 않습니다.
2. 처리하는 개인정보의 항목

3. 개인정보의 처리 및 보유 기간
- 출시 알림 신청 정보: 출시 알림을 보낸 뒤 지체 없이 파기합니다. 신청을 철회하면 그 즉시 파기합니다.
- 웹사이트 이용 통계 정보: Google 애널리틱스 데이터 보존 기간 설정에 따라 최대 14개월 동안 보관한 뒤 자동으로 삭제됩니다.
4. 개인정보의 파기 절차 및 방법
보유 기간이 끝나거나 처리 목적을 이룬 개인정보는 지체 없이 파기합니다. 전자 파일 형태의 정보는 다시 살릴 수 없는 방법으로 영구 삭제합니다. 핸드오프는 개인정보를 종이 문서로 보관하지 않습니다.
5. 개인정보의 제3자 제공
핸드오프는 정보주체의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 특별한 규정이 있는 경우에는 예외로 합니다.
6. 개인정보 처리의 위탁 및 국외 이전
핸드오프는 원활한 서비스 운영을 위해 아래와 같이 개인정보 처리 업무를 위탁하고 있으며, 이 과정에서 개인정보가 국외로 이전됩니다. 이는 「개인정보 보호법」 제28조의8 제1항 제3호 나목에 따라 처리위탁·보관을 위한 이전으로, 이 방침에 공개함으로써 이루어집니다.

국외 이전을 원하지 않으시면 출시 알림을 신청하지 않거나, 7번의 방법으로 쿠키 저장을 거부하실 수 있습니다. 이 경우 출시 알림을 받으실 수 없지만 웹사이트 이용에는 제한이 없습니다.
7. 개인정보 자동 수집 장치(쿠키)의 설치·운영 및 거부
핸드오프는 웹사이트 이용 현황을 분석하기 위해 Google 애널리틱스를 사용하며, 이 과정에서 쿠키가 이용자의 브라우저에 저장됩니다. 쿠키는 웹사이트가 이용자의 브라우저에 보내는 작은 텍스트 파일입니다.
이용자는 쿠키 저장을 거부할 수 있습니다. 쿠키 저장을 거부해도 웹사이트 이용에는 제한이 없습니다.
- Chrome: 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 서드 파티 쿠키
- Safari: 설정 → 개인정보 보호 → 모든 쿠키 차단
- Edge: 설정 → 쿠키 및 사이트 권한 → 쿠키 및 사이트 데이터 관리 및 삭제
- Google 애널리틱스 차단 브라우저 부가 기능: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
8. 정보주체의 권리·의무 및 행사 방법
정보주체는 언제든지 자신의 개인정보에 대해 열람, 정정·삭제, 처리 정지, 동의 철회를 요구할 수 있습니다. 아래 개인정보 보호책임자에게 이메일로 요청하시면 지체 없이 조치하겠습니다. 대리인을 통해서도 요청하실 수 있으며, 이 경우 위임 사실을 확인할 수 있는 자료가 필요합니다.
9. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치
- 개인정보에 접근할 수 있는 사람을 개인정보 보호책임자 1인으로 한정합니다.
- 개인정보를 저장하는 계정은 비밀번호와 2단계 인증으로 보호합니다.
- 개인정보는 암호화된 통신(HTTPS)으로만 전송됩니다.
10. 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보
핸드오프는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보가 수집된 사실을 알게 되면 지체 없이 파기합니다.
11. 개인정보 보호책임자
핸드오프는 개인정보 처리에 관한 업무를 총괄하고, 관련 문의·불만 처리 및 피해 구제를 위해 아래와 같이 개인정보 보호책임자를 지정하고 있습니다.
12. 권익 침해 구제 방법
개인정보 침해로 인한 구제를 받기 위해 아래 기관에 분쟁 해결이나 상담을 신청하실 수 있습니다.
13. 개인정보 처리방침의 변경
이 개인정보 처리방침은 2026년 10월 24일부터 적용됩니다. 내용이 바뀌는 경우 시행 7일 전부터 이 페이지를 통해 알려 드리며, 정보주체의 권리에 중요한 변경이 있으면 30일 전에 알려 드립니다.

Handoff (“Handoff,” “we”) establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea to protect your personal information and to handle related concerns promptly.
1. Why we process personal information
We process personal information only for the purposes below. If a purpose changes, we will take the required steps, including obtaining separate consent under Article 18 of the Act.
- Launch notification: to send a single email announcing the launch to people who signed up for it.
- Website analytics: to understand how the website is used (visits, referral sources, etc.) and improve it.
We do not use the information we collect to send advertising.

3. How long we keep it
- Launch sign-up information: deleted promptly after the launch notification is sent, or immediately if you withdraw your sign-up.
- Website analytics data: kept for up to 14 months under our Google Analytics retention setting, then deleted automatically.
4. How we delete it
When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we delete the information without delay. Electronic files are permanently deleted so they cannot be recovered. We do not keep personal information on paper.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law.
6. Processors and transfers outside Korea
We entrust the processing below to an outside provider, which involves transferring personal information outside Korea. This transfer is made for entrusted processing and storage and is disclosed in this policy under Article 28-8(1)(3)(b) of the Act.

If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can choose not to sign up, or block cookies as described in section 7. You will not receive the launch notification, but you can still use the website without restriction.
7. Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, which stores cookies in your browser. A cookie is a small text file a website sends to your browser.
You can refuse cookies. Refusing them does not limit your use of the website.

- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Block all cookies
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data

8. Your rights
You may at any time ask to access, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your personal information, or withdraw your consent. Email the privacy officer below and we will act without delay. You may also make a request through a representative, with documentation showing their authority.
9. How we keep it safe
- Access to personal information is limited to the privacy officer alone.
- The account that stores personal information is protected by a password and two-step verification.
- Personal information is sent only over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
10. Children under 14
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we learn that we have, we will delete it without delay.

The following person is responsible for personal information processing and for handling related inquiries, complaints, and remedies.

13. Changes to this policy
This policy applies from October 24, 2026. We will post any changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that materially affect your rights.
This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
